WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
Many of us don’t consider newspaper production a grave threat when compared to other agents of pollution. But it is imperative to note that as we speak, more than 199 tons of paper has already been produced! With so many trees being cut for making newspaper, it is only going to be worse if proper sustainability options are not found. When paper rots, it emits methane gas which is 25 times more toxic than carbon dioxide.
Keeping this problem in mind and sight, a bunch of college going youngsters in Ghaziabad came up with a novel idea to reduce environmental pollution. They thought of recycling the newspaper and magazines by collecting them from the household and deliver it directly to the newspaper maker so that it can be used for other purposes.
We were briefed to create a suitable name and brand identity echoing this concern for the environment. It must be simple enough to get remembered and powerful enough in the imagery to stay pledged for.
